Top 5 Pink, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness

BreastCancerAwareness

October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This campaign aims to bring awareness to the disease and to honor those who have lost their lives to or who are fighting Breast Cancer. The Breast Cancer Awareness campaign offers strength, courage, and hope to anyone affected by Breast Cancer. The campaign encourages women to get their early mammogram and acts as a reminder to live a healthy lifestyle. Adding a splash a pink to your home might give you a daily reminder and adds fun touch as well.

1.  Pink Storage

Storage baskets for your living room, bedroom, closet, bathroom or laundry room are a great way to stay organized.   And they add pattern and color to your space. Shop Land of Nod Baskets >

4. A Splash of Pink Art

Art can also be a nice way to add a splash of pink. Michelle Armas’ Canvas Prints are beautiful and “That Bowtie I Like” has just enough pink. Down2Earth Interior Design used this print in a bedroom for two little girls. The playful print will grow with them into their adulthood. Shop Michelle Armas Art >

5. Paint it Pink!

Another bold way to incorporate pink is with paint. Down2Earth Interior Design selected a soft pink to compliment the girls’ bedroom. Here we have selected Sherwin Williams Amour Pink, SW6595. Shop Paint Color>

As you can see in the room below, the soft pink wall works well with the bold pink accents in the room but is also neutral and timeless.

Down2Earth Interior Design hopes this has inspired you to be aware of your lifestyle and to add a touch of pink to you life!
